In contemporary society you have a lot of opportunities to produce your perfect image. In the age of the internet and social media it's easy to portray the best version of yourself, free of difficulty, shame or even any truth.

But then there are those who live their entire lives in a produced reality. The reason can be of any sort, shame, fear, or even consideration to your loved ones. The fear to hurt someone or embarrass them.

The actor, Hannes Óli Ágústsson, never really felt close to his father. Growing up he thought he just had a regular dad, kind of distant and cold. Deep down he knew though that things weren't quite normal. One day everything changed. His dad became Anna Margrét, at 57 years old. She told her wife of 30 years and her two kids that she was in fact not the man Ágúst Már, but Anna Margrét.

A sense of loss came over them. Their lives had been a lie. Society demands that you support your loved ones, support him - support her - and help her to find a way to finally live as her true self.
