Trk_x (pronounced Tarek X) flows freely through experimental pop, lo-fi techno and dark ambient soundscapes. Fetishist and witty, it gives voice to minorized bodies, goes for kicks and basses and desire galore. Tarek leaves traces. Tarek dances like fauns and fairies! Tarek has horns. Tarek has sisters. Tarek comes out of obscurity! Tarek sings for plants and stones and water. Tarek is, like all of us, a creature of complexity! Tarek loves failure. Tarek loves when it’s kinky! Tarek’s magic is Tarek’s aim to move forces. Tarek includes. Tarek stands against normativity! Tarek sweats. Tarek is fluid. Tarek’s heart beats fast and heavy! Tarek sings with ghosts. Tarek turns ugliness into beauty!
