mouthy and psychologically delicate woman enters in a huge puff of smoke and makes a night to remember..

The Brogan Davison Show takes place daily somewhere in town. The shows have already sold out for the festival but if you are interested in becoming a future host, please contact danceformetour@gmail.com

The Brogan Davison Show takes the format of a solo stand-up performance which happens in the living room of a volunteer ‘host’ who can invite their friends, family, neighbours, acquaintances, plants or pets to enjoy an evening of The Brogan Davison Show.

Brogan, a self-deprecating, mouthy and psychologically delicate woman enters in a huge puff of smoke and makes a night to remember through telling jokes and stories from her working class childhood home in England, giving cooking tips and singing songs inspired by whatever is going on in her tiny little head.

Through Dance For Me’s vulnerable and off-key approach to performance making, guests can expect a brutally raw performance full of love, rage, bravery and stupidity. The Brogan Davison Show is Dance For Me’s fourth project which dives even further into exploring the relationship of a lived life and it’s representation.

Dance For Me is Brogan Davison (UK) and Pétur Ármannsson (IS). Since forming in Reykjavík in 2013, they have created performances (Dance for me - 2013, Petra - 2014 and Stripp - 2016) which have been presented in Dance and Theatre contexts in Iceland, Germany, Norway, Denmark, the UK, Finland, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland and Canada and in venues including Mousonturm (DE), BIT Teatergarasjen (NO) and Bora Bora (DK).

Dance For Me are associate artists of Lókal Performance Festival in Reykjavík and part of the N.O.W. network, a European research and development project for the performing arts.
